Hello Friends and Family,
First I would like to say thank you for all of the encouragement and support
when I truly felt low. I needed more than a minute to put myself back
together. In this last week I have been in Italy, recovering my confidence
and evaluating everything. My eyes are dry, my smile is back and I still
love what I do.
At the end of the day it is not a question of whether Funmi Jimoh is capable
of excellence on the field, and off for that matter. The only answer is yes,
absolutely, without a doubt. I am seeing more and more how much a fighter I
can be. I don't like to lose, and I don't want to be average by any means.
When I want something I go and get it.
So......I am narrowing my focus and changing my goals. This is a process,
and I am still on the right track. I truly cannot wait to get back on the
field.Tonight I will have that opportunity and I know the important thing
for me to do is, relax, and do what I know how to do, and that is jump!
Fall down seven times, stand up eight!! Here we go!!!
arrivederci
Funmi K. Jimoh
Funmi,
“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit.” – Aristotle.
Make 6.80 - 6.90 your habit.
This day belongs to you... Take it!!

Truman Capote said, "Failure is the condiment that gives success it's flavor". You'll be back and it will taste good! Good luck with your training this year.
